Cirque du Soleil Quidam Tickets

Cirque du Soleil was founded in 1984 by Guy Laliberte and Daniel Gauthier, two former street performers, in Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec, Canada. Their circus was described as a mix of circus art and street entertainment and it was the vision of the founders to combine circus styles from around the world.

Quidam was the ninth production to be staged by Cirque du Soleil. Quidam premiered in Montreal, Canada in April 1996 using the big top format but has already converted to arena format when it started touring North America in 2010.

Quidam tells the story of a bored girl named Zoe who dreams of the magical world of Quidam as her escape from reality. The word "Quidam" means "an anonymous passerby" which according to Cirque du Soleil, "is the embodiment of both everyone and no one at the same time."
